No Dice was organized by some concerned citizens as Pennsylvania began to debate legalizing and legislating slot machines.  No Dice, and other groups across Pennsylvania, fought against the impending legislation.  However, the PA General Assembly ultimately passed Act 71 and Governor Rendell signed it into law.

While efforts still are ongoing to repeal or amend Act 71, and No Dice supports fully those efforts, we have chosen to focus on educating citizens about the harm casinos can have and are having on individual lives in our communities.  It is our desire to inform  our neighbors about the growing danger of gambling on our society so that they will just stay away from the slots casinos.
